Description: Inspired by the story of Draupadi and through writing and other art forms, we will do an emotional balance to release the burdens of the past and set our intentions for the new cycle. We will explore our inner strength together while weaving an "infinite sari" to symbolize renewal, purpose, and connection to the essentials.

Bio: Citralekha Devi Dasi (Nina Colum) is a Bhakti yoga teacher and practitioner, award-winning writer, and art-therapist with over 10 years of experience in emotional support through the arts. She holds a degree in International Business from EAFIT University in Colombia and a European Management degree from L’École de Management de Strasbourg in France. After several years in the corporate world, she shifted her path, publishing her first book, La Sonámbula, at the age of 24, a collection of short stories that won the Creative Talent Award from the Government of Antioquia.

She holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from the International University of Valencia, Spain, and is a certified life coach in art-therapy, as well as a facilitator of the Creative Gestalt Dance Therapy method, a program recognized by the UN. Her writings have been awarded and featured in various anthologies and opinion media in Colombia, Mexico, and the United States.

Her first trip to India in 2011 inspired her to begin a yoga practice, leading her to a certification where she encountered the Bhakti path. In 2019, she took formal initiation in Mexico from her teacher, Bir Krishna Das Goswami. She has dedicated herself to spreading the principles and teachings of Bhakti through children’s programs, sankirtan, book translation and distribution, and various artistic expressions.

She is part of the Sadhvi Sanga team in Spanish and has conducted art-therapy workshops in several ISKCON temples across Latin America. Most recently, she co-facilitated the first Spirit Retreat alongside Rukmini Devi in Bahía Solano, Colombia.

Urban Devi is a monthly interactive women’s discussion circle that seeks to make spirituality accessible to women in the 21st century. Each session will focus on a theme based on topics that are of importance to women and will offer insight and practical applications from the practice of Bhakti Yoga.
