August Sanga - The Inspiring Tale of Amara

A captivating story of Amara, whose name means "deathless," and her extraordinary journey of resilience and redemption. Kidnapped by shadows and dragged into a world of darkness, this story is about Amara's struggle to reclaim her inner light.

Bio: Vidarbhasuta devi dasi majored in Economics from St. Stephens College, New Delhi and worked as a TV journalist with Mrs. Nalini Singh and Business India Television before moving to the US. She is a professional Storyteller (trained by Laura Simms & Eric Miller), certified Soma Breathwork Instructor and a spiritual counselor to many.

She is a disciple of H.H. Mukunda Goswami and associated with ISKCON since 1996. She is a Spiritual Life Coach practicing and teaching Bhakti Yoga for the last 28 years in DC. She has been invited to speak at the Parliament of World Religions in Utah in 2015, National Cathedral in DC, interfaith events and has taught Bhakti Yoga at UPenn, Johns Hopkins, American University and University of Maryland.

She, along with her husband, Loka, spearhead a vibrant spiritual community in Maryland where they host regular weekly programs. They homeschooled their son, Nimai who graduated from UPenn and works in DC. They live in Gaithersburg, MD and also spend time in Mayapur, India.
